Feeding, Families & Real Life
Food is hard. As a parent of three neurodiverse kiddos, one diagnosed with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), I know all about picky eating... and then some. From emergency hospital admissions, to endless Maccas runs, I have seen and done it all. Dedicating my speech pathology knowledge to this field has been a passion... but at times it still gives me great anxiety! Here you will find my notes on feeding (and everything around it!).

When everything falls apart (and food falls away)
A child who isn't eating doesn't have the fuel they need to regulate. And an unregulated child often can't eat.
