We aim to place clients with the most appropriate therapist depending on your particular needs and your child's presentation. Whether you see a therapist with one year of experience or one with 20 years of experience, you can be confident that your child is receiving evidence-based high quality services overseen by Claire and her senior staff.
CLAIRE FOLLENT
Director / Senior Speech Pathologist
Claire is the director and principal speech pathologist at MSP. Claire graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 and since that time has fostered her love for paediatric therapy services, particularly early intervention. Claire is a Hanen certified speech pathologist and has a background in severely challenging behaviour and disability. Claire is also trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy and the Responsive Feeding Model, and facilitates both individual and group food school sessions. Claire is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

STEPHENÂ FOLLENT
Director /Â Senior Physiotherapist
Steve is co director of MSP and a qualified physiotherapist. Steve assists Claire behind the scenes in running Malvern Speech Pathology.

Imogen has been an integral member of our MSP team since 2022. Imogen is dedicated to family-centred practice due to her enthusiasm for parent education and inclusion. Imogen is passionate about neurodiverse-affirming practice and gestalt language processing and has completed further training in complex speech disorders including Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Imogen is qualified to conduct the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale) and can make recommendations regarding diagnosis. Imogen is a Hanen certified speech pathologist, and she is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

SUZANNAH KIRSOPP

We were thrilled to have Suzannah join our team in 2023, having moved across from another paediatric private practice. Suzannah brings with her an enthusiasm for paediatric speech pathology intervention and a passion for early child development. Suzannah has completed further training in the Lidcombe Program for fluency and also the Sounds Write Literacy Program. Since joining MSP she has also completed her Hanen certification training and her level one Key Word Sign training. Suzannah is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

Alex is an enthusiastic, empathetic and valued speech pathologist who joined the MSP team in 2023 following a previous role based in the community. Alex brings with her a passion for neurodiverse-affirming practice, and proficiency in Key Word Sign and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Alex has particular interests in speech and language delays and delivering family-centred practice. Alex is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

We were thrilled to have Brittany join the MSP team in 2024, bringing her creativity and enthusiasm for paediatric intervention. Brittany has completed her Hanen It Takes Two to Talk training to further her knowledge in the area of pre school language facilitation, in addition to having experience with the Lidcombe Program through La Trobe University's Fluency Clinic. Brittany is passionate about voice challenges, having a strong background in musical theatre and performing.
Brittany is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

Caroline is a dedicated speech pathologist with a passion for helping children communicate effectively. With experience in the Lidcombe Program and implementing Hanen strategies, she focuses on family-centered practice to ensure the best outcomes for every child. Her warm and enthusiastic approach fosters a supportive environment, making therapy both enjoyable and effective. Caroline is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

​The MSP team warmly welcomed Eva at the end of 2025 when she joined us from a community-based service provider. Known for her warm and engaging approach, Eva builds strong relationships with children and families and values close collaboration with parents, educators and multidisciplinary teams. Eva has significant experience supporting autistic children, those with ADHD, and intellectual disability. Eva also has skills in dysphagia assessment and management, and is excited to be assisting with the MSP food school program. Eva has completed further training in literacy support and AAC assessment and prescription. Eva is a certified practicing speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
