CLAIRE FOLLENT

Director / Senior Speech Pathologist

Claire is the director and principal speech pathologist at MSP. Claire graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 and since that time has fostered her love for paediatric therapy services, particularly early intervention. Claire is a Hanen certified speech pathologist and has a background in severely challenging behaviour and disability. Claire is also trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy and the Responsive Feeding Model, and facilitates both individual and group food school sessions. Claire is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

STEPHEN FOLLENT

Director / Senior Physiotherapist

Steve is co director of MSP and a qualified physiotherapist. Steve has worked in both paediatric and adult fields of practice both in hospital and community settings. Steve is available for home and clinic visits at 500 Waverley Road Malvern East.

Administration

Diane is our head of administration at MSP and comes with a wealth of experience working in the medical and allied health sectors. For all booking and payment queries please contact Diane at reception.

SAMANTHA CARLSON

Senior Speech Pathologist & Team Leader

Masters of Speech Pathology, La Trobe University

Bachelor of Applied Science

Samantha is the MSP team leader and one of our incredible senior speech pathologists. Samantha has been working for MSP for a number of years now and brings her knowledge of early intervention, and special interests in language and literacy development. Samantha is a Hanen certified speech pathologist and has completed her training in the Seeing Stars literacy program. Samantha is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

ISABELLA ARTHUR

Senior Speech Pathologist

Bachelor of Speech Pathology, La Trobe University

Isabella is one of our dedicated senior speech pathologists, having worked for MSP for almost 7 years and having graduated from La Trobe University with director, Claire, back in 2003. Isabella has special interests in early intervention and stuttering. Isabella is trained in the Lidcombe Program and is also a Hanen certified speech pathologist. Isabella is also experienced supporting children with social and emotional regulation difficulties. Isabella is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

BATYA NOWESENITZ

Senior Speech Pathologist

Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Australian Catholic University

Batya is a valued MSP speech pathologist, bringing her dedication to family centred practice and passion for early intervention to the team. Batya has worked for MSP for a number of years now and during this time has completed her Hanen certification and also training in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering. Batya has been trained in the Responsive Feeding Model and assists Claire with the Food School Program. Batya shows a strong commitment to client care. Batya is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

IMOGEN REAY

Speech Pathologist

Masters of Speech Pathology, Melbourne University

We were excited to have Imogen join our team in 2022 as she came with experience working with children and families, and subsequently has fostered enthusiasm about parent education and inclusion. Imogen is a Hanen certified speech pathologist, and she is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

SUZANNAH KIRSOPP

Speech Pathologist

Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Australian Catholic University

Diploma of Endorsed Enrolled Nursing

We were thrilled to have Suzannah join our team in 2023, having moved across from another private practice. Suzannah brings with her an enthusiasm for paediatric speech pathology intervention and a passion for early child development. Suzannah has completed further training in the Lidcombe Program for fluency and also the Sounds Write Literacy Program. Since joining MSP she has also completed her Hanen certification training. Suzannah is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

EMMA WALLACE

Senior Speech Pathologist

La Trobe University

Emma Wallace is a highly skilled speech pathologist having worked in the paediatric field since 2015. Emma has been working with the Department of Education since 2019 and continues to do so whilst assisting MSP on a Saturday. Emma has particular interests in literacy and language assessment and intervention. Emma is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
