MSP is a close and supportive team. We are dedicated to providing an exceptionally high level of competence and support to you and your child. We aim to place clients with the most appropriate therapist depending on your particular needs and your child's presentation.

 

CLAIRE FOLLENT

Director / Senior Speech Pathologist

Claire is the director and principal speech pathologist at MSP. Claire graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 and since that time has fostered her love for paediatric therapy services, particularly early intervention. Claire is a Hanen certified speech pathologist and has a background in severely challenging behaviour and disability. Claire is also trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy and facilitates a feeding clinic fortnightly. Claire is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

STEPHEN FOLLENT

Director / Senior Physiotherapist

Steve is co director of MSP and a qualified physiotherapist. Steve has worked in both paediatric and adult fields of practice both in hospital and community settings. Steve is available for home visits.

KELLIE DEBONO

Practice Manager / Child Inclusion Liaison

Kellie is the practice manager of MSP and is also our Child Inclusion Liaison. Kellie has a background in Early Child Development, having been a director of childcare facilities for multiple decades. Not only can Kellie help schedule your appointments at MSP but she can also provide visits to your child's childcare or kindergarten and provide support and recommendations so that your child is receiving the best of care in all environments.

SAMANTHA CARLSON

Senior Speech Pathologist & Team Leader

Samantha is the MSP team leader and one of our incredible senior speech pathologists. Samantha has been working for MSP for a number of years now and brings her knowledge of early intervention, and special interests in language and literacy development. Samantha is a Hanen certified speech pathologist and has completed her training in the Seeing Stars literacy program. Samantha is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

ISABELLA ARTHUR

Senior Speech Pathologist

Isabella is one of our dedicated senior speech pathologists, having worked for MSP for almost 7 years and having graduated from La Trobe University with director, Claire, back in 2003. Isabella has special interests in early intervention and stuttering. Isabella is trained in the Lidcombe Program and is also a Hanen certified speech pathologist. Isabella is also experienced supporting children with social and emotional regulation difficulties. Isabella is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

BATYA NOWESENITZ

Speech Pathologist

Batya is a valued MSP speech pathologist, bringing her dedication to family centred practice and passion for early intervention to the team. Batya has worked for MSP for 2 years and during this time has completed her Hanen certification and also training in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering. Batya is a favourite of parents and children alike due to her commitment to client care. Batya is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

DEJANA (ANA) ROKNIC

Allied Health Assistant (Final Year Speech Pathology Student)

Ana is a final year speech pathology student who joined MSP in 2022, keen to further her practical experience under the guidance of experienced speech pathologists. Ana has a background in disability support work and is passionate about supporting children with a range of developmental and acquired disabilities. Ana is working under the direct guidance of director, Claire Follent, and is available for appointments on a Saturday.

CARA DANIELI

Allied Health Assistant (Final Year Speech Pathology Student)

Cara is a final year speech pathology student who joined MSP in 2022, also keen to further her practical experience under the guidance of experienced speech pathologists. Cara has a background in childcare, education and support work in the field of ASD. Cara is available for appointments on Fridays.

IMOGEN REAY

Allied Health Assistant (Final Year Speech Pathology Student)

Imogen is a final year speech pathology student who joined MSP in 2022, also keen to further her practical experience under guidance of experienced speech pathologists. Imogen has completed paediatric speech pathology placements in the fields of early intervention and disability, and has also spent years working as a tutor. Imogen is available for appointments on a Saturday.
