At Malvern Speech Pathology we work closely with families to provide assessment and intervention for children aged 12 and under. Our practice is dedicated to providing quality care by offering the highest level of service, which is why we have a well-deserved reputation for excellence.

SPEECH THERAPY
Assessment, therapy and management of children under the age of 12 years presenting with a range of issues:
Difficulties with speech production (including articulation concerns).
Stuttering - Malvern Speech Pathology uses the Lidcombe Program
Childhood Apraxia of speech (difficulties with motor planning)
Issues relating to language skills (such as limited vocabulary, difficulty forming phrases & sentences
Concerns regarding understanding language
Challenges with literacy development
Challenging behaviour (such as issues with non-verbal communication skills)
Voice disorders
Speech and language difficulties secondary to neurological degenerative conditions.
All clinicians are certified trainers of the 'It Takes Two to Talk' Hanen Program and a number of our clinicians have completed further training in the "More Than Words" program, specifically created for children on the Autism Spectrum.

FEEDING THERAPY
Claire is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy and offers a range of feeding assessment and treatment options for the following presentations:
Swallowing difficulties, saliva control and/or mealtime management concerns
Feeding difficulties (including picky eating).

PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy services are facilitated by Stephen Follent. Home visits are offered to both adults and children.
