We support children with feeding challenges, sensory differences, and mealtime anxiety — with understanding, practical strategies, and small steps that add up.
Because this isn't just about food.

It’s about:
-
anxiety
-
control
-
sensory overwhelm
-
relationships
-
and the quiet, persistent worry that sits with you when your child won’t eat
Children who don’t eat aren’t being difficult.
And parents aren’t doing it wrong.
We’re often just missing the right understanding.
Our
Story
My name is Claire Follent and I am the owner and director of Malvern Speech Pathology.

I have three neurodivergent kiddos, one with a diagnosis of Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and two others who would be considered as "picky eaters". Consequently I have dedicated the last 10 years of my career to feeding intervention for those with a range of challenges including for those struggling to commence solids at 6 months of age through to toddlers and teens with extremely restricted diets.
I am trained in a number of feeding intervention programs including the SOS Approach to Picky Eaters and Problem Feeders and the Responsive Feeding House Model. With the help of my team we deliver group and individual feeding sessions in our East Malvern clinic. I personally assess all children entering our program to determine the most appropriate course of action for your child and to develop a plan together.
